With energy efficiency always on the agenda, we have taken a massive step forward in reducing our power consumption for one of the most critical elements of data centre function: rackspace cooling.

We have been able to reduce our overall power consumption for cooling by 90%. Despite the consumption reduction, the air supply temperature is maintained at the same level as traditional air conditioning units.

The huge consumption reduction is further aided by our state of the art cold isle containment system. This enables us to cool a relatively small proportion of floor space, while maintaining the perfect server hosting environment.
